Welcome to the Coast Mountain Sports Mind Over Mountain Adventure Racing Series presented by Helly Hansen!
Recently voted the "Best Adventure Race in Western Canada" by Get Out There Magazine and one of the best by the Georgia Straight, the MOMAR enters its 10th anniversary season with an impressive 27 race history.
The MOMAR is an incredible weekend experience that will test your mental and physical limits. You will navigate your way through a series of checkpoints on either the 30km Sport Course or on the 50km Enduro Course.
The first event is on May 23rd in Squamish, BC, and features mountain biking, trail running, orienteering, bushwhacking, trekking, and rappelling off a 150' cliff!
The final event is on Vancouver Island in the historic mining town of Cumberland. On September 26th, teams will kayak, mountain bike, trail run, orienteer, bushwhack, and trek their way through a challenging course.
From the most novice of racers to the most seasoned of athletes, our adventure
races will test all of your faculties and prove to be one of your biggest endurance
accomplishments of the year.
The MOMAR after-party is legendary! Celebrate
a grueling day of racing with your fellow racers and volunteers. The night features
a gourmet dinner, an awards presentation with tons of great draw prizes, and ends
with non-stop dancing! Fun, social, and a weekend to remember forever!
