Yesterday, I had the great pleasure of making a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC on behalf of the MOMAR. Through our Wishing Bell program, online donations, the Mega 50/50 Draw, and a top-up from the MOMAR, we were able to raise $2000.00 for our official charity.

Executive Director, Ross Hetherington, accepts the cheque from the MOMAR.

Make-A-Wish’s mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses and to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Since 1983, they have granted over 1000 wishes!

Our fundraising goal for 2008 is to raise $5000. We will have lots of fundraising initiatives at each MOMAR and we look forward to your support in helping us reach our goal.
