I just arrived home from the final MOMAR of the season. I’m too exhausted to write up the wrap report or get the results formatted and posted.  However, the great Tony Austin, did send me a few great photos so I’ll leave it at that until tomorrow morning. Thanks to everyone from coming out and celebrating the end of our 10th season!!!

The race started with a kayak stage on Comox Lake. Team Helly Hansen VI I & II battle it out.

The fastest racer on the water was John Markez with a split time of 49:50.

The new issue of Get Out There Magazine is now out on newstands and the MOMAR makes the front cover and gets a featured article!

The cover shot was taken by Tony Austin from last year’s Cumberland MOMAR as racers jockey to the start line on Comox Lake.  Can anyone tell me the name of the guy who is front and centre?

Inside the issue, Gary Robbins writes an article about his first MOMAR experience and what motivates him to keep coming back.

I have finally added a few new photo galleries from the MOMAR in Squamish onto the website.  The photo galleries are from the rappel site, finish line, CP 16, and the awards/after-party.  Big thanks to all our photographers who came out and captured the MOMAR experience for all to view!

Photographer Nick Sopcza put together a great MOMAR Slideshow to music that is posted on YouTube.  It’s well worth checking out and re-living the memories!
